Manual Lymph Drainage

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is not massage. It is an extremely light, superficial, very slow movement of the superficial lymphatic system fluid or lymph.
The purpose of Manual Lymphatic Drainage is to help drain substances that cannot be drained or reabsorbed by the blood system such as metabolic waster otherwise known as toxins.
It helps to alleviate post-operative edema and promotes faster recovery and healing. Manual Lymphatic Drainage is also analgesic which means it has pain relieving properties.  It is great for Fibromyalgia, Migraine headaches and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.  It helps aid in the movement of excess lymph or fluid out of the interstitial tissues back through the lymphatic system.
Following surgery MLD is performed to reduce edema and swelling, speed up healing time and flush away bruising. Great for post cosmetic surgery, corrective surgery and surgery related to injury.  Reduced bodily stress = increased immune system support.

Anyone who has been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia knows that it is a difficult condition to diagnose.  Fibromyalgia sufferers have widespread pain throughout the body as well as tender points, fatigue, difficulty sleeping and emotional sensitivities. MLD can help to reduce symptoms, promote better sleep, increase energy and balance the mind.  Reduced bodily stress = increased immune system support.

Migraine Headaches

MLD has a relaxing and analgesic effects that will help minimize symptoms of Migraines.  Reduced bodily stress = increased immune system support.

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

Stress reduction is key for most conditions.  The body can heal better, the brain can think clearer and some energy can be restored to the body.

Reduced bodily stress = increased immune system support.
